Our coating technology, which originated from carbon paper, has evolved to meet the diverse processing needs essential for manufacturing electronic devices and precision components. With high-precision technology that addresses various requirements such as heat resistance, adhesion, and environmental compliance, we also support processing in clean environments and advanced heat treatment. By leveraging our optimal technology and equipment, we provide the best solutions for the customer’s coating needs. We welcome all inquiries for coatings.
As digitalization continues to advance, the use of carbon paper is not as widespread as it once was. However, it remains an indispensable tool in environments where handwritten forms and duplicate copies are still required, and demand continues steadily.
In fact, the coating technologies we have cultivated through carbon paper manufacturing are also utilized in articulating paper used by dental clinics to check bite alignment. In recent years, our carbon paper has also been adopted as a material for contemporary art, opening up new creative possibilities beyond conventional applications.
Since our founding, we have continuously evolved our technologies while flexibly adapting to changing applications and market needs. Moving forward, while staying true to our origins, we will continue pursuing manufacturing that meets the needs of the times through the creativity and initiative that define General.

Our coating machines, installed in clean environments, utilize two different coating methods: small-diameter gravure and knife coating. These methods enable a wide range of coating thicknesses, from thin to thick layers, making them ideal for processing materials such as electronic components and precision products.
We offer heat processing at up to 400°C under nitrogen or atmospheric conditions. Additionally, we can conduct the firing and annealing of films and metal foils in roll form. By combining this with our clean coating technology, we enable integrated production within our factory, ensuring an efficient and rapid manufacturing system.
We were the first in Japan to develop a pattern adhesive processing technique that applies glue in a dot pattern, solving the issue of "glue not cutting off cleanly where intended" in tape glue products, revolutionizing the market. Additionally, for customers seeking high performance but requiring thinner layers, we developed a two-layer adhesive technology that allows for front and back adhesion control without a core material, meeting diverse customer needs.
