On March 1, 2005, the General Group split into 3 companies: General Co., Ltd. (now General Holdings Co., Ltd.), General Technology Co., Ltd. and General Supply Co., Ltd., which have since been independently managed while cooperating closely together.
 
　At this time, the sales operations of General Technology Co., Ltd. have been transferred to General Supply Co., Ltd., and a new General Co., Ltd. was launched on November 1, 2009. As a sales company integrating the markets previously covered by General Technology Co., Ltd. and General Supply Co., Ltd., the new General Co., Ltd. is responsible for aggressive market-side development of new products and new business. In addition to closely responding to customer needs, we have also begun to work toward a future stock market listing.
